This used to be a closed off city because the navy is stationed here. The air was filled with fluffy stuff from blossoming poplar trees (topol). I called it "summer snow". In this picture you can see them as white spots dropping down. |
Since Peter the Great was a fan of Germany & Holland he gave German designations to Kronstadt, Peterhof und St. Petersburg. |
